Synopsis: All her life, Emilia has been warned by her Nonna to hide from the Princes of Hell. Why they would ever seek her and her twin out, they are never told. When her sister is found murdered with her heart ripped out of her chest, a demon licking his fingers wet with her blood, and evidence that her own sister summoned a Prince of Hell, Emilia decides to finally go against all that she was raised to do and summon a Prince of Hell herself. To find out what happened to her sister, she will let Hell know she is looking for them.

Review: This has definitely been a popular one on all social media platforms and I finally caved. Did it live up to the hype? I don’t think so. Am I still going to continue with the series? Absolutely. I will say that I loved the world building of Sicily and the culture that Emilia and Victoria grew up in. There is a definite sense of history and fear of the Princes of Hell. Emilia is incredibly loyal to her sister and hellbent on not just solving her murder, but avenging it. A trope I’m not a fan of is when older characters keep vital information from younger characters thinking it will keep them safe when instead it causes their downfall. It’s annoying. Was I entranced by Wrath? Not really. I will take into account that we are seeing things from Emilia’s point of view and she’s not all that focused on observing Wrath as well as she thinks she is. The twist at the end, is it a twist? I don’t know, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen, but how will this impact that main ship? I’ll be diving into the second book, Kingdom of the Cursed, to find out.
